A guide through Lisbon

Lisbon might not be a city, which is on everybody´s bucket ist. Nonetheless you should definitely think about visiting this astonishing place at least once in your life. Lisbon combines historical areas and relaxing holiday in an unique way.

In addition, the city is not too touristic, hence you can still have a real cultural and authentic experience, while discovering the various neighbourhoods. Besides some amazing castles and beaches, the city offers the the most delicious food, especially the fresh and tasty sea food platters is fresh and tasty. An original and well recommended dessert in Portugal is  „Pasteis de Nata“. These are little cakes made of puff pastry and filled with pudding. You can find the best ones in town at „Manteigaria“  at the Praca Luis de Camoes.

April is the only month in the year that can be a slightly rainy, but for the rest of the year you will not miss out the brilliant sun.

The Basilica de Estrela is definately worth a visit. It was built in 1790, and dedicated to Queen Maria I of Portugal.
